Careful planning goes into every breeding in order to produce quality future generations for our kennel. We do not usually have more than one or two litters per year and each is extremely important to us. Thus we feel it is our obligation to do our best to find the best match both for the puppy and for the families. Each inquiry will be met with the purpose of getting to know the prospective families in order to determine their needs. For the welfare of the puppy, we are very selective in finding those matches. It is always our hope that some forethought and study has already been done by the families to plan for a new family member and all of the needs of a new furry infant.  This is not an undertaking to be taken lightly. All companion pet puppies leave here at around 8 weeks on AKC Limited Registration which only prevents breeding and does not affect the pet family.

Each litter is born in our house with constant supervision both with human and canine motherly interaction. This is a wonderful learning period both for our family and especially for the puppies. We take full advantage of the opportunity to not only provide the best socialization that we are able to but also to just enjoy this very special time and all of that PRICELESS puppy breath. As the puppies mature they go through a series of changes and when weaning begins around 4 weeks are placed in a very special secure puppy area complete with obstacles and toys where they can safely begin to explore the world and learn how to get along with others. For purposes of good socialization and learning, the puppies are always exposed to many different surfaces and areas both inside and outside. We spend hours observing and interacting with them at this critical time. By the time they are ready to leave they have had first vaccines & wormings appropriate for their age, have been examined by the local veterinarian for their initial health checks, and have been to OSU or another Vet hospital for ACVO eye checks for the entire litter. They will leave here complete with a packet full of helpful information on raising a puppy complete with schedule sheets for your veterinarian explaining the what, how, and when of all procedures that they have thus far received .

The parents of each litter will have been kept up to date on vaccines, wormings and health certifications such as ACVO/CERF, OFA HIPS and ELBOWS. We are working toward including  OPTIGEN, THYROID, and CARDIAC for all .

We welcome serious inquiries/questions and are happy to help. Since the life of a breeder is very hectic at times and in order to be able to preserve our family time, we do ask that no calls be initiated before 9:00am EST or after 7:00pm Est and all visits be scheduled a couple of weeks in advance. Thank you!!
